Kimberlyn Allen is a recognized expert and leader in Business Aviation.
For more than 23 years she has been a corporate flight attendant, working with many NBA & NHL professional sports teams, A-list celebrities, rockstars & entertainers, foreign dignitaries, Fortune 500 executives, presidential candidates and NASCAR.
In 2018, she was appointed the Director Of Operations, for a high-profile, A-list celebrity to manage all aspects of his private jet operations. She's currently the only female in private aviation to retain this elite and executive position for a FAR 91 operation.
Simulanteously, she's been teaching, training, certifying and mentoring many of the best private jet flight attendants in the industry. She's been retained by executives, wealthy families, national, as well as, global operators to provide consulting services for aircraft interior design and galley set-up. She has assisted in the sale and delivery of private jets to new owners, along with recruiting and training of their flight attendant staff.
Kimberlyn was the chief flight attendant for the NHL Carolina Hurricanes Hockey team from 1999-2006 and was a part of the winning Stanley Cup team. Besides flying with the organization, she and her team were the In-Flight Catering consultants, handling the coordination and logistics of all team catering in each city.
In 2005, Kimberlyn and her company, Jet Set Aviation Professionals were hired by Imagine Entertainment as the Flight Attendant Technical Advisor and on-set Consultant for the feature film, Flight Plan starring Jodie Foster and Peter Sarsgaard. She also spent time training the actresses, including Erika Christensen on how to play their roles as flight attendants in the movie. She consulted with the director, executive producers and others regarding the authentic duties and responsibilities of real-life flight attendants. Kimberlyn was also in talks to be a technical advisor for another feature film entitled Red Eye, but scheduling conflicts did not permit it.
In that same year she opened a global staffing agency - Cabin Attendants 4 Hire, providing flight attendants to operators and private jet owners worldwide.
In 2014, Kimberlyn became an author when her book/manual entitled; Jet Set Aviation Professionals- Corporate Flight Attendant Training Manual was published by the Library Of Congress.
Always moving her company forward; in 2016, Kimberlyn expanded her company's services internationally by opening an office in Central Hong Kong. Her global staffing agency, Cabin Attendants 4 Hire will also be expanding into Hong Kong and surrounding regions in 2017.
Jet Set Aviation Professionals corporate office is located inside the private airport in Van Nuys, CA with additional offices in Beverly Hills, Miami and Hong Kong.
Kimberlyn is an active volunteer (since 2008) with CASA-LA, which allows her to advocate for the rights of youth in foster care through the judicial system. She is a certified Mediator volunteer with Centinela Youth Services (CYS) trained in conflict resolution as an alternative for youth offenders. She also volunteers with Food-On-Foot, which is a grass-roots organization helping the homeless find meaningful work and assistance while transitioning back into society.
Through her scholarship program "Reach for the Stars" she mentors and trains women dealing with adversity to have careers as corporate flight attendants and she continues to assist and mentor all those who have taken her program over the last 17 years.
